So, “the universe full of material force” is the precondition and “the universe full of mind” is the purpose. Furthermore, “the universe full of material force” is a proposition of cosmology, and the other is an ontological one; therefore the two propositions are not placed on the same level, so they shouldn’t be treated as a contradiction.
